In continuation to this office proceedings 2nd read above, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and Principals of lASEs, CTEs and DIETs in the State are informed that, in thereference 3rd read above (copy enclosed), Govt, has decided to celebrate the Republic Day on 26-1-2019 through the State in a befitting manner.
Therefore all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education , District Educational Officers are requested to issue necessary instructions to all Headmasters / Head of the Educational Institutions to hoist the National Flag at the respective Institutions and explain the significance of the Republic Day on 26-1-2019.All the Principals of lASEs, CTEs and DIETs are also requested to hoist the the National Flag at the respective Institutions and explain the significance of the Republic Day on 26-1-2019.
Further, they are also requested to conduct special programmes including the flag hoisting, flag salutation and community singing of the National Anthem and distribution of sweets to children should be arranged on that day in all schools / Orphanages, college and other Institutions in the State. The expenditure may be met from their regular budget allocated for the current financial year.
Further, they are also requested to arrange following activities viz.:
Morning :: March-past by School Children through streets, singing National and Patriotic Songs (it should be ensured that the children taking part in the procession are not put to undue strain).
Flag hoisting at all schools/ Educational Institutions singing of National Anthem and National Songs.
