ORDER:-
In the reference read above, the Registrar (Administration), High Court of Andhra
Pradesh, has informed that the as per orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.485 , Law (LA, LA & J-Home-Cts.A2) Department, dated 19.08.2019 of the Government of Telangana while re-defining the territorial jurisdiction of the four (4) Special Courts for CBI Cases at Hyderabad, four (4) Rayalaseema Districts of Kurnool, Y.S.R. Kadapa, Chittoor and Anantapuramu were deleted. Therefore, the High Court of Andhra Pradesh has decided to shift II-Additional CBI Court from Visakhapatnam to Kurnool and requested the Government to issue necessary orders for shifting of the II-Additional CBI Court from Visakhapatnam to Kurnool along with its paraphernalia and conferring territorial jurisdiction of four (4) Rayalaseema Districts of Andhra Pradesh consisting of Kurnool, Y.S.R. Kadapa, Chittoor and Anantapuramu, on the said Court.
2. Government after careful examination of the proposal of the Registrar (Administration), High Court of Andhra Pradesh, hereby decide to shift the
II-Additional CBI Court from Visakhapatnam to Kurnool along with its paraphernaliaand confer its territorial jurisdiction of four (4) Rayalaseema Districts of Andhra Pradesh consisting of Kurnool, Y.S.R. Kadapa, Chittoor and Anantapuramu.
3. The Registrar (Administration), High Court of Andhra Pradesh, is requested to
take necessary action, accordingly in the matter.
4. Accordingly, the following Notification will be published in the Andhra Pradesh
Gazette, dated:14.11.2019.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of powers conferred under sub section (1) of section 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act No.2 of 1974),Government, after consultation with the Hon’ble High Court of Andhra
Pradesh hereby shift the II-Additional CBI Court from Visakhapatnam to Kurnool along with its paraphernalia and it shall have and exerciseterritorial jurisdiction over the four (4) Rayalaseema Districts of Kurnool, Y.S.R. Kadapa, Chittoor and Anantapuramu.
