National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - PG 2020: Apply by November 21

National Board of Examinations (NBE), Medical Enclave, Ansari Nagar, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, New Delhi-110029, an autonomous organization of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India; has invited applications for admission to MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses for the 2020 Academic Session.
NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses in the country, under 

(i) All India 50% quota seats (all States & UT 's)
 (ii) State/UT quota seats 
(iii) All Private Medical Colleges,Institutions & Universities/Deemed Universities all across the country
 (iv) Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions 
(v) DNB Post MBBS Courses
However, the following Medical institutions are not covered by centralized admissions for MD/MS seats through NEET- PG for 2020 session (i) AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMS (ii) PGIMER, Chandigarh (iii) JIPMER, Puducherry (iv) NIMHANS, Bengaluru (v) Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum
Test format: NEET-PG will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) to be held on 5th January, 2020, in a single session at all the test centres during 12 noon to 7 pm. The examination comprises of 300 Multiple Choices, single correct response questions. Time allotted for the test is is 3 hours and 30 minutes. The question paper shall be divided into 3 parts (Part A, B and C) each containing 50, 100, 150 MCQs respectively. The distribution of MCQs in these parts is given in the Information Bulleting that can be downloaded from http://www.nbe.edu.in/ . Each correct answer gets 4 marks while an incorrect answer will result in loss of 1 mark.

Eligibility: Applicant should hold MBBS degree/Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from a Medical College/Institute duly recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act, possessing either a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS or equivalent qualification issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council. Applicant should have completed one year of internship or should be completing the same on or before 31st March 2020.
Application: applications can be registered through the NEET-PG link at http://www.nbe.edu.in/ , latest by 21st November, 2019. Applicant can choose the exam city through online registration system on first come first serve basis.
Application Fee: Application fee for General /OBC categories is Rs.3750/- and that for SC/ST/PWD/ (PH) applicants, is Rs.2750/-. The fee can be remitted through payment gateway, at the time of online submission of application form, using a credit card or debit card issued by Banks in India or through Internet banking.
Results are expected to be declared by 31st January, 2020.
