కేబుల్‌ వినియోగదారులకు శుభవార్త.. రూ.160 కే అన్ని ఛానళ్లు

టెలికం రెగ్యులేటరీ అధారిటీ (ట్రాయ్‌) 2017 చట్టంలో చేసిన మార్పులను అమలులోకి తీసుకురానుంది. 2020 మార్చి ఒకటి నుంచి కొత్త నిబంధనలు వర్తిస్తాయని సంస్థ చైర్మన్‌ ఆర్‌ఎస్‌.శర్మ ప్రకటించారు. 

వినియోగదారులకు ఇకపై ఏ ఛానెల్‌ కావాలన్నా ఎంపిక చేసుకునే స్వేచ్ఛ ఉందని చెప్పారు. నూతన చట్టంతో వినియోగదారులకు తక్కువ ఖర్చుకే ఛానెల్స్‌ను ఎంపిక చేసుకునేలా వెసులుబాటు కల్పిస్తామని స్పష్టం చేశారు. దేశంలో మొత్తం 909 ఛానెళ్లు అందుబాటులో ఉండగా వాటిలో 330 పెయిడ్‌ ఛానళ్లు ఉన్నాయన్నారు.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) will implement changes to the 2017 law.  RSS Sharma, chairman of the company, announced that the new rules will be applicable from March 1, 2020.  He said consumers no longer have the freedom to choose which channel they want.  The new law makes it clear that consumers will be able to choose low-cost channels.  There are 909 channels available in the country, of which 330 are paid channels.
