The AP government will issue a notification today (January 10, 2020) to replace the 16,000 vacant jobs in a large number of village ministries. The government has decided to replace the posts in the village secretaries through the Panchayati Raj department.
Officials say that the replacement process will continue as per the old practice and guidelines in the village and ward ministries.
Most of the vacancies are posts that have not been replaced by past appointments. There are over 7,000 vacancies in Veterinary department.
Horticulture Assistant posts 1746, Village Surveyor posts 1234, Digital assistant posts 1122. In addition to this there are up to 3000 posts in newly created secretaries.
However, the government has decided to set up 300 new ministries in the state. Of these, 3 thousand jobs will have to be replaced. Nearly 20,000 posts will be notified along with the old posts.
