The AP government has launched a scheme with Jagannathodu to address the financial problems of street vendors.  Millions of small, street vendors and hackers in the state have been given Rs.  Initiated the process of providing zero interest loans up to 10 thousand.  Today, CM Jagan will launch an online distribution of interest-free loans of about Rs 1,000 crore to small traders and traditional professionals at the push of a button and deposit cash in the beneficiary's account.  While nearly one million people have applied for the scheme so far, the government has decided to continue the application process to apply the scheme to everyone who is eligible.

 Those who are eligible for the scheme along with Jagannath0du are those who have set up permanent or temporary shops in villages and towns about five feet long, five feet wide and less.  The scheme will help the poor who are selling vegetables, fruits, food items, handloom and handicrafts on carts in public and private places on footpaths along the road, and those who are carrying and selling goods on the scalp.  Those who go and trade on bicycles, motorcycles, autos .. Traditional professionals such as lace makers, artisans, Yeti Koppaka, Kondapalli toy makers, leather toy makers, pottery, bobbili linen, brass equipment makers are eligible to benefit from this scheme.  The trader must be at least eighteen years of age to avail assistance through this scheme.  Must have Aadhaar, Voter Card or other government-issued identity card.  The scheme is also applicable to artisans who make lace work, decorative, attic dolls, Kondapalli dolls, puppets, bobbi veenas and bronze artefacts with traditional raw materials.

 The selection process is as follows.

 Village and ward volunteers recently conducted a statewide survey to identify beneficiaries.  The lists of beneficiaries identified in this survey are already being displayed for social audit at the village and ward secretariats.  All eligible persons can apply immediately to the concerned Village and Ward Secretariat if their name is not in the list.  Volunteers will assist those who are eligible for the scheme and do not have a bank account to open a new savings account.  Eligible applications will be forwarded to the concerned banks through MPDO in rural areas and Municipal Commissioner in urban areas.

 Special portal for coordination with banks ...

 The government has launched a special portal to coordinate with banks and closely monitor the implementation of the scheme.  Banks consider the applications received and grant loans up to Rs. 10,000 / - depending on the need of the beneficiary.  The loan amount will be credited within three to four days to the beneficiary who has opened a loan account in the bank.  Selected beneficiaries will be provided with smart cards with QR code.  The Department of Village and Ward Secretariats, Cerf and Mepma will coordinate and oversee the implementation of the scheme.  After the beneficiary repays the loan to the banks including the interest, the government reimburses the interest to the beneficiary.

 If anyone still qualifies under the scheme by mistake, the village and ward volunteers will be contacted and the village secretariat will look into the application within a month and provide loans to them as well.  Also, in order to benefit more people by continuing this process, even if someone wants to start a new business, they will look at the business according to the rules and give loans according to the eligibility. AP Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will launch the Jagananna Thodu scheme on Wednesday which aims at providing a helping hand to small and petty vendors across the state. Interest-free loan of Rs 10,000 would be provided to small and petty vendors under the scheme and nearly 10 lakh vendors have applied to avail the scheme. The government will pay the interest of the loans taken by the vendors from banks.

చిరువ్యాపారులు, సాంప్రదాయ చేతివృత్తుల వారి పెట్టుబడి అవసరాల కోసం రూ.10 వేల వరకు బ్యాంకుల ద్వారా ప్రభుత్వమే వడ్డీ కడుతూ సున్నా వడ్డీ రుణాలు అందిస్తున్న జగనన్న ప్రభుత్వం.

గ్రామాలు, పట్టణాల్లో సుమారు 5 అడుగుల పొడవు, ఐదు అడుగుల వెడల్పు లేదా అంతకంటే తక్కువ స్థలంలో శాశ్వత లేక తాత్కాలిక షాపులు ఏర్పాటు చేసుకుని వ్యాపారం చేసుకునే పేదవారు అందరూ అర్హులే.
